With Crystal Palace having a pretty streamlined squad, a transfer rumour linking a player to the club should be music to the ears of Palace fans.
Roy Hodgson has talked about the need for new full-backs and a forward (Evening Standard), though this latest transfer rumour is linking them with Slovakian goalkeeper Dominik Greif.
Do Palace desperately need to sign a new striker in January?
Unsurprisingly, this didn’t get Palace fans exactly buzzing considering they have Vicente Guaita and Wayne Hennessey to pick from in net.
Greif, 22, became known to some in England when he put in a great performance for his team Slovan Bratislava against Wolves in the Europa League. In fact, when Wolves faced them they described one of his saves as ‘stunning’, as he put in a top-notch performance against the English side, earning a man of the match award on WhoScored with an 8.2/10 rating.
Even if he could well be a top prospect, the Eagles fans feel like they have bigger fish to fry – as you can see from the responses of supporters below…
Can he play RB? https://t.co/gzwExeEtnN
