Many of the Crystal Palace fanbase are revisiting a great away victory against West Ham which saw the club secure Premier League safety in that campaign.
The club posted highlights on Twitter of the fixture played on the 19th April 2014. It was a tough battle between the London rivals as there was only one goal in the game which was a Mile Jedinak penalty after defender Pablo Armero fouled Palace striker Cameron Jerome in the box, via BBC Sport.
Not only was it the match that made sure they mathematically were safe in what was their first season back in the Premier League after their relegation in 2005, but it also equalled a club record as it was their fifth win in a row.
This highlighted the great job that manager Tony Pulis did when he took over on the 23rd November 2013 from Ian Holloway, per BBC Sport, and the club hasn’t looked back since as they still remain in England’s top flight.
