A lot of Crystal Palace fans are enjoying reminiscing over an emphatic win against Arsenal after the club posted highlights from the game back in April 2017 on Twitter.
The Eagles thrashed the Gunners 3-0 on a Monday night under the lights with former manager Sam Allardyce, as goals came from Luka Milivojevic, Andros Townsend and Yohan Cabaye. The Frenchman scored the best of the lot, as he tried a curling effort whilst falling backwards which looped over goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
The win moved Palace into 16th and six points away from Swansea who were sat in 18th, whilst putting more pressure on Arsene Wenger as the North London side were sixth and seven points away from Champions League qualification, via BBC Sport.
The victory was clearly a rememberable one as Andros Townsend’s father also replied to the tweet, expressing his joy over the game saying: “What a night.”
Here is what fans had to say about the victory:

Brilliant Palace performance under Big Sam . You could see how combative we were , certainly first to every ball and well organised and on the front foot taking the game to Arsenal. Wayne Hennessey played well under Big Sam . Love it ❤️

For me the most confident and complete performance in the premier league for #CPFC The faces in the Arthur were brilliant – some in disbelief, some purely excited but all in love with the team that night (especially Yohan) https://t.co/A2qU3aH72o
