Many Crystal Palace fans are falling in love all over again with Jason Puncheon after the club posted a video of his great performance against Cardiff in 2014 on Twitter.
The midfielder scored two goals in a 3-0 victory, via BBC Sport, which pushed the Eagles further away from relegation and he also managed to get an assist for a goal which was scored by Joe Ledley. Puncheon’s second goal of the day was a spectacular curling shot from outside the box after Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh deceived the defence by letting the ball run through his legs.
The Englishman played at the club for six seasons, featuring 168 times and managing 38 goal contributions, via Transfermarkt.
This performance against Cardiff was one of his best and reminded fans the quality that the attacking midfielder had during his career with the club. He now plays in the Cypriot league at Pafos FC, after leaving the club last summer, via Transfermarkt.
