Crystal Palace: Fans spur on Gary Cahill to haunt his old club

Many Crystal Palace fans have sent messages to Gary Cahill before he makes a return to Stamford Bridge for the first time since leaving the club.
Gary Cahill is undoubtedly an icon at Chelsea; the 33-year-old won every major trophy there is to win at the club, apart from the Club World Cup in 2012.
Has Gary Cahill been one of the signings of the summer?
Yes

No

While at the club – between 2012 and 2019 – he managed to rack up 290 appearances for the club, also scoring 25 times, before making the move across London in the summer to join Crystal Palace.
It hasn’t taken long for fans to start taking to Gary Cahill either. Since joining the club he has been an important part of Palace’s impressive defensive record this season. He has played nine games for Palace, in a season where they have conceded just 14 goals in 11 games.
Lots of Palace fans have got in touch with Cahill via Twitter to try and pep him up for their match on the weekend – here are some of the replies below…
