Earlier today, Everton fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern were mixed in their response to the confirmation of Yannick Bolasie’s long rumoured transfer to Goodison Park; Crystal Palace fans on the other hand are bound to be excited with the man linked to replace him.
The deal that took Yannick Bolasie to Everton earlier today was reported to be worth a pricey £25m, leaving Crystal Palace with funds to spend as the summer transfer window draws to a close.
Alan Pardew is reportedly not wasting any time seeking a replacement for the DR Congo international, with Newcastle star Moussa Sissoko the player purported to be first on the list.
The Guardian is suggesting that that Pardew is keen to reunite with the French attacker as he looks to rebuild his attacking line following the departure of Bolasie.
The French international was a consistent starter under Pardew despite inconsistent form; but the Eagles boss clearly has faith in him to get back to his best.
What do you think Crystal Palace fans? Is Sissoko a decent trade for Bolasie or should you be aiming higher? Let us know below…
