Over the summer, Crystal Palace managed to recruit a number of players who could allow them to reach say the top ten of the Premier League but so far, the need for another creative midfielder is blinding obvious seeing as it will take time for Max Meyer – for example – to become accustomed to life in England.
Manchester City youngster Oleksandr Zinchenko is an example of a player who could be a great capture for Crystal Palace and January could be the perfect time to lure him away from the Champions.
Zinchenko, who is valued at £13.5 million on Transfermarkt, is a player that from time to time, gets a chance in a City shirt but his potential and performances should allow him more regular game-time with a club like Crystal Palace.
So far, the Ukrainian has been limited to just one appearance and that came in the EFL Cup for Manchester City. Last season he made his breakthrough for the Citizens, making 14 appearances and for a youngster at Man City, that is almost unheard of.
That solely is down to his versatility to be able to play left-back, all over midfield or generally anywhere else he is instructed.
Crystal Palace could improve massively with a versatile player like Zinchenko and should think about prizing him to London.
