Crystal Palace fans in the Transfer Tavern will be delighted with how well their team finished the Premier League season and will be pleased with the latest transfer update regarding one of their key stars.
The Eagles appeared doomed for relegation at one point, however, Roy Hodgson managed to turn things around and with a run of positive results towards the end of the campaign, they ended up in 11th position, a place many of the locals would have been happy with from the beginning.
There has been speculation with Wilfried Zaha’s future, having performed consistently at a high level for Palace during the year, however, the Ivorian has revealed he has no plans on leaving Selhurst Park amid rumours he could go in the summer.
“I have no plans on leaving,” he told the Daily Express.
“I’m enjoying my football, you can see how much I’m enjoying it. This is my home and there’s no reason for me to leave.”
The Palace fans in the Tavern will be delighted with the comments that the 25-year-old has made, firmly believing he is the most important member of the team and will want Hodgson to build around him.
The £22.5million-rated winger, as per Transfermarkt, has been attracting interest from sides within the top six, however, the locals will be hoping they can keep the eight-time goal scorer happy in south London and fend off any possible bids that come their way.
