Crystal Palace fans in the Transfer Tavern will be turning their focus to their match against AFC Bournemouth this weekend in what many of the locals feel is a must-win for their team to have any chance of staying up.
The Eagles have had a difficult season and found themselves in the bottom three of the Premier League for the majority of the year, however, Roy Hodgson has managed to turn things around and the club is on the verge of safety.
According to reports in The Sun, the media publication is claiming that Crystal Palace are interested in signing Celta de Vigo star Daniel Wass. The Denmark international has been impressive during his three-year stint at the Spanish side and has attracted plenty of potential suitors.
Amongst interest from La Liga, the midfielder has been on the radar of Leicester City and Swansea City, however, the Eagles will be keen to try and convince him to join them at Selhurst Park in a £4million deal, with his contract set to expire next summer.
Palace fans in the Tavern will be hoping they can convince the Denmark midfielder to join them and will be watching the World Cup with anticipation to see how he performs, but they will be more focused on Premier League survival in the immediate future.
If they can stay up, our resident Eagles would love to see him arrive.
