Crystal Palace should take a punt on prolific £10.8m-rated Cameroon striker this summer

The Crystal Palace fans in the Transfer Tavern are excited to see what their team can do next season under the watchful eye of Roy Hodgson.

The former England manager revitalised the side as soon as he took over, much to the delight of the Crystal Palace supporters seeing as relegation was a very real threat back then.

This summer, as the Eagles want to kick-on from their good performances of late, should be all about acquiring the right talent to allow them to progress as a club and one player who has endured a terrific season out in France is Karl Toko Ekambi, who is valued at £10.80 million on Transfermarkt.

The 25-year-old has adapted very well to Ligue 1, scoring 17 times so far in 35 appearances, leading him to joint 5th in the goalscoring charts amongst top names such as Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Nabil Fekir. He is big and strong, likes to get in physical battles with defenders and often comes out on top.

His passing and dribbling are good for a big striker and of course, he has the finishing ability ready for the Premier League our punters believe.

Crystal Palace have struggled for a real source of goals from their attackers this season because usually whilst Christian Benteke would guarantee at least 10 goals, he has only found the back of the net three times this season. That alone makes Ekambi a very worthwhile signing and because of the big impression he’s made in Ligue 1, the Eagles must swoop in fast to get their man.
