According to The Daily Mail, Crystal Palace are interested in signing midfielder Papa Alioune Ndiaye as they look to move away from the relegation zone.
Our resident Eagles fans here in the Transfer Tavern certainly hope any move for the player could spark a revival with them currently sinking without a trace.
After being in the top half of the table earlier this season they have completely plummeted down the division and now look as though they could be set for a real relegation fight.
Six games lost on the bounce suggests they will be in and around the bottom three for the long haul, whilst their loss against Swansea 5-4 at the weekend just highlighted further their current defensive and mental weaknesses at the moment.
Ndiaye could be the start of a revival, then, once the January transfer window opens.
The 26-year-old currently plays for Turkish side Osmanlispor and has six goals to his name so far this campaign including in the Europa League.
He has international experience with Senegal, too, and looks a real powerhouse so he could be just the tonic the south London side need to get going.
