Our Crystal Palace fans here in the Transfer Tavern are eager to see how their club does for the rest of the season as well as seeing their next young crop of players come through.
Indeed, the Eagles should have enough to stay up this season under Sam Allardyce but he’ll know more than most that survival is earned not given.
From there, Big Sam will then have to start looking at who is going to be good enough to help the club progress further and it appears Sullay Kaikai will need to have a decision made about him.
That’s because, as quoted by getwestlondon, Brentford boss Dean Smith has said that he plans to try and take him on loan again for next season.
Kaikai is a very talented attacker and did well in the Championship for the Bees this season before returning to Palace.
Indeed, he could be a real asset for them next season, too, if they manage to get him again and that certainly seems to be where Smith’s thinking is at the moment.
“Sullay is a super lad and a super player who did well here. We were really pleased with him.
“It would have been great to have kept him so he could have continued the season here.
“But I understand at the time Palace needed players back, but he is certainly a player who would be on our radar [this summer] because of how he did here and him doing really well.”
Looks like it’s watch this space time, then, and Sam Allardyce certainly has a decision to make.
