Dalglish & Pardew Set To Slug It Out For €7M Rated Sensation

Liverpool and Newcastle United are both in the hunt to sign Ryad Boudebouz this summer as they look to strengthen their midfield options.

The Algerian starlet currently plays for French side, FC Sochaux-Montbéliard but reports that have emerged via Tuttomercatoweb suggest that the midfielder is on his way to one of the two Premier League giants.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder notched an impressive eight goals in 38 Ligue 1 appearances this summer and is now keen to test himself at a higher level with England as his preferred destination.

Boudebouz started his international career with the French youth set up but in 2010, decided to switch his allegiances to his parent’s country of birth, Algeria. The player has impressed at club level, earning himself a key role in the national set up and was part of the Algeria side that held England to a goal less bore draw in South Africa that upset Wayne Rooney ever so much.

Talks are set to begin between the French club and prospective buyers within the coming weeks. First team opportunities are much more likely to come about with Newcastle, who are currently looking to replace Kevin Nolan after their captain departed to reunite with Sam Allardyce at relegated West Ham.

The depleted squad at Newcastle is in desperate need of re-shaping and Alan Pardew is looking to bring a bit of flair to the midfield with this signing.

Liverpool seem set on filling their squad with ‘young British talent’ after recent transfer activity and this potential deal could bring about more dimension to their attacking set up and at a cheaper price.
