Manchester United fans are delighted with how their side has gone about business so far this summer as they continue to work towards a possible title push. 

Jose Mourinho will be desperate to get one over on bitter rivals Manchester City in the next campaign after being completely dominated in the race for the Premier League title. It certainly looks as if the Red Devils are making all the right moves on the transfer front, as according to the Mirror, Manchester United are on the brink of a £1 million deal to snap up Rochdale teenager Daniel Adshead.

Interestingly, the 17-year-old midfielder is being watched by a number of Premier League and Championship sides after bursting onto the scene at Rochdale last season.

And the talented youngster impressed again last week starring for Rochdale in a behind-closed-doors Under-23 game at United’s Carrington training complex.

So, it’s believed that this is set to trigger a £1 million bid with add-ons on top.


So, it looks as if Manchester United are closing in on yet another impressive signing, having already secured the services of Fred, Lee Grant and Diogo Dalot so far this summer.

Daniel Adshead has shown that he can handle playing in the Football League at such a young age, so it would come as no surprise if he manages work his way up into United’s first-team ranks over the next few years.

Indeed, the 17-year-old has a bright future ahead of him and has already impressed at United’s training complex, so it shouldn’t be too difficult for him to adjust to surroundings if they manage to land him in the near future.
