Tottenham Hotspur could be set to keep one of the players that were expected to be offloaded this summer.
The left-back, who made his first Premier League start of the season against Manchester United on Monday, has revealed that he is pleased to have another chance to impress the Argentine and is not listening to speculation about a possible move.
“The manager has spoken to us all a couple of weeks ago and said everybody starts from zero,” Rose told the Independent.
“We all have to start again trying to impress him and that’s great. We all go again. I’m good. I’m not listening to the speculation about my future.
“If I’m here past Friday, which I’m expecting to be, which will be great, I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve at the end of the season.”
Rose’s revelation that he intends to stay at Tottenham beyond the summer would have come as a surprise.
It was expected that the England international would be looking to make a switch away from north London this summer after he appeared to have a falling out with Pochettino over the comments he made a year ago.
However, with the £27million-rated left-back, as per Transfermarkt, starting in the victory against Man United, it appears he could be given a second chance to get regular football with Spurs.
