Wolverhampton Wanderers have been shocking the football world with the ambitious signings they have made, however, one appears to be a tad far too ambitious for the club.
The Molineux outfit have been preparing for their return to the Premier League with a host of signings that will give the side the confidence to fight for more than just top-flight survival.
The likes of experienced professionals Rui Patricio, Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez have all signed permanent deals, whilst those that were on loan with the club in their Championship-winning campaign have also decided to remain.
However, it is thought that Nuno Espirito Santo is still in the transfer market to make a number of signings as he continues to strengthen his squad, however, one England international does not appear to be on his radar.
However, with Spurs considering to offload the full-back, Nuno could still potentially swoop in for the 28-year-old this summer.
Rose would be a major coup for the club this summer if they were to land the England international.
With the departure of Barry Douglas, the Tottenham man could look to get his career back on track at Molineux after he found himself out of both club and international setups following a serious injury.
It remains to be seen if a move can be done before the deadline, however, with Rose expected to leave and the way Wolves have conducted their business this summer, it maybe would not come as a surprise to see him in the Orange.
