West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking for David Moyes to make a number of additions this summer as they look to avoid another relegation battle in the Premier League next season.
The Hammers had a disappointing campaign, but they managed to confirm their survival with a few games to go after spending most of the season battling with a host of sides to stay in the top-flight.
It is expected that Moyes will remain in charge at the London Stadium and will have control over incoming and outgoing transfers this summer, and The Times have reported that the Scotsman is interested in adding a midfielder to his side.
Huddersfield Town’s Aaron Mooy has been linked with a move to the Hammers after impressing during his first full season in the top-flight, however, the Terriers will not be prepared to let him go. He still has two years left on his current deal, and the Yorkshire side are expected to offer him a new deal to keep him at the John Smith’s Stadium.
The West Ham fans in the Tavern will be pleased that the club are beginning to look for transfer targets and will feel the Australia international (valued at £8.1 million by Transfermarkt) could offer them something different.
It is likely that the Hammers will have to table a huge offer to lure Mooy away, as Huddersfield will want to make a profit on their star player having only purchased him on a permanent deal from Manchester City last summer.
