David Moyes delivers clear message regarding West Ham’s transfer plans – report

West Ham United are preparing to face Manchester City at the London Stadium this weekend, but the supporters in the Transfer Tavern have turned their attention away from the fixture and towards recent comments made by David Moyes.

The Hammers are not safe from relegation just yet and will know the game against the newly-crowned Premier League champions will be a tough task, although their home form has been promising of late. Moyes will be hoping his team can try and take advantage and secure three points which would almost certainly guarantee their safety.

During his pre-match press conference, Moyes was asked about the future of a number of his players, in particular, his goalkeepers, who both could leave in the summer. Joe Hart could return back to Sunday’s opponents once his loan deal expires, whilst Adrian is said to want to call it quits.

Moyes revealed to football.london that there were no talks about the possible movements of either of the aforementioned players and stated he would not make any comment until their Premier League status was secured.

“There is certainly no talks about whether it’s Adrian or Joe Hart or anybody because until we are in a position of safety, we won’t be making any decisions like that where we are going to be,” he is quoted by football.london.

“So no, we’ve not discussed them.”

Landlord’s Verdict

The West Ham fans in the Tavern will be wanting the future of their goalkeeper’s resolved sooner rather than later as they risk losing both in the summer. It is believed many of the locals would prefer that Adrian stayed, but will not be convinced by recent comments.
