Manchester United’s summer of investment is likely to see some big players come and go at Old Trafford but as far as the punters lining the bar are concerned, Jose Mourinho has a lot to do to get the squad in shape for next season!
The Red Devils have struggled domestically this season and should they bow out of the Europa League last-four, it will be a trophy-less campaign in Jose Mourinho’s first season in-charge at Old Trafford.
But according to Spanish outfit Don Balon, there could be some huge transfer business going on between Real Madrid and the Red Devils this summer, which could see a potential deal done that sees James Rodriguez and David De Gea swap clubs.
Reports suggesting David De Gea is unhappy at Old Trafford have been rife for some weeks now and James Rodriguez’s struggles for first-team football under Zinedine Zidane suggests that it’s a deal that could work out for both sides.
United are said to value their Spanish goalkeeper at a staggering £63million but a large deciding point on the move could be the amount Madrid rate their Colombian playmaker.
United fans- are you happy with this news? Would you rather keep De Gea or bring Rodriguez in over the summer? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
