Deal Agreed: Liverpool agree deal to sign attacking midfielder with medical set to take place

Liverpool v Everton - Barclays Premier LeagueLiverpool supporting punters here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are getting excited about the news they have seen in the Metro – with the publication claiming that the Reds have agreed a deal to sign Barcelona winger Bobby Adekanye, with a medical set to take place in the coming days.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have been very active in the summer transfer window, with Roberto Firmino being the standout signing that the Merseyside club have made thus far.

Adekanye is only 16, but is renowned for his pace and strong style of play and this is something that is music to the ears of fans of Liverpool here in the Transfer Tavern.

A plethora of Reds fans playing darts and deliberating this deal feel this can only be a good bit of business for the club, and can’t really see any negatives in signing an exciting, up and coming talent from Barcelona!

However, one solitary Liverpool supporting punter sitting on his own in the corner of the Tavern feels that the club need to be signing world-class, established players – and subsequently shouldn’t be wasting their time on players who have potential but are not the final product yet.
