Our resident Arsenal fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are starting to get excited about the upcoming Premier League season, but are already getting frustrated with the lack of transfer activity at the club.
The news filtering in to the Tavern from the Daily Mail is transfer news regarding Arsenal, but not exactly what the Gooners over by the pool table here in the Tavern wanted…
The publication is claiming that Arsenal’s young 19-year-old defender Tafari Moore is set to join Dutch outfit Utrecht on loan for next season – as Wenger seemingly wants to give the youngster more experience of first-team football.
The majority of Arsenal fans enjoying a cold TT beer here admit they don’t know too much about the young defender, and feel a move away from the Emirates Stadium is probably a good move for all parties involved.
Our landlord has been down to see the Arsenal under-21’s numerous times last season and admits Moore could undoubtedly become a first-teamer at the club one day, but agrees with the Arsenal contingent here in the Tavern, and says a move to Holland could be exactly what he needs to develop and mature.
