Deal Close: Chelsea midfielder set to join European club

CuadradoIn what was thought to be part of a mega deal to secure the services of Paul Pogba, Juan Cuadrado has been linked with a move to Juventus extremely regularly over the past few days.

However, the news that is coming into the Transfer Tavern today has not been making the Chelsea lads very happy.

The Metro are reporting that regardless of any deal for French ace midfield man Paul Pogba, Columbian winger Cuadrado is heading to Turin on a year long loan move.

The ex-Fiorentina wide man initially joined the Blues on a four-and-a-half year deal in a transfer that cost the Stamford Bridge outfit £23 million.

However, he has failed to establish himself under Mourinho, often being second choice to the likes of Willian, Hazard and co.

Having made just four league starts last term, it now looks like his time in London is all but over, and our resident Chelsea fans over by that bar are not surprised by this news in the slightest, with them all agreeing he simply is not good enough for the club!
