Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are pleased with their improvements under Guus Hiddink, as they discuss what changes he could make this month as they enjoy a game of scrabble by the fireplace.
An outgoing deal seems imminent, with The Daily Express reporting that Chelsea are on the brink of agreeing a deal to send Christian Atsu on-loan to La Liga strugglers Levante until the end of the season.
The Ghanian spent the first-half of the season at Bournemouth but he made just two appearances on the South Coast, with his time hampered by injury problems, and Chelsea recalled the youngster earlier this month.
Atsu, yet to make an appearance for Chelsea’s senior side since signing from Porto in 2013, will move on his fourth loan spell of his Blues career this month- but Bundesliga side Hamburg are also in the hunt for his signature.
Our landlord isn’t a fan of Chelsea’s youth policy and would much prefer them to sell Atsu, as he accuses the Blues of hoarding young talent- a claim our Chelsea fans strenuously deny.
Chelsea fans, is loaning Atsu out again the right call? Let us know in the comments below!
