West Brom supporters in the Football Transfer Tavern are predicting a more successful campaign with Tony Pulis in charge from the beginning, and the former Stoke and Palace boss may have just pulled off a clever move in the transfer market to strengthen that belief.
The Birmingham Mail reports that the Baggies are set to complete the loan signing of Arsenal starlet Serge Gnabry today.
The 20-year-old has represented Germany at every youth level, and is set to sign on at the Hawthorns until January.
Able to play on either flank or as a central striker, Gnabry has yet to make a significant impact at the Emirates, after becoming the club’s third youngest player of all time when making his debut in 2012.
Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern are still predicting a bright future however, and have been especially impressed with his performances during pre-season.
It now looks as though he will be allowed half a season of regular first team football in the Premier League, with West Brom expected to confirm the young German as their fourth signing of the summer shortly.
