Liverpool fans are preparing to say their goodbyes in the Football Transfer Tavern as their young prospect is on the brink of joining Rangers.
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool midfielder Jordan Rossiter is ready to make the move to Rangers, as his contract is running out at Anfield.
The 19-year-old was seen as the next best thing at Melwood but following a string of injuries he has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield.
It is believed the young midfielder had promising talks with the Scottish giants over the weekend, meaning a move is imminent.
With Rossiter’s contract expiring at his boyhood club, it means the Ibrox club can sign the youngster for around £250,000 compensation.
It will be an emotional day for Rossiter when his move is finally complete, as he’s been at Liverpool since he was six as well as being tipped to follow in the footsteps of Steven Gerrard.
Our landlord feels this is a beneficial move for the youngster, and can imagine Rangers boss Mark Warburton will look after the Merseyside kid well up in Scotland!
