The Hull City fans are gathered at the bar in The Transfer Tavern and discussing reports that the club look set to sign a Manchester United youngster on loan.
The Daily Star is reporting that the Championship side are close to completing a loan deal to bring Nick Powell to the club.
The 21 year old is currently undergoing a medical at the KC Stadium with view to a move until the end of the season.
Hull boss Steve Bruce has admitted that he is a player he has always admired the midfielder and is eager to add him to the ranks before the close of the window at 11pm tonight. Speaking about the club signing Powell, Bruce said:
“I’ve liked Nick from the first time I saw him when he played for Crewe. Whether we can get something over the line is debatable but we are trying.”
The Hull fans in The Tavern are delighted at the thought of Powell turning out for their side and think he is just the player who can help them return to the Premier League.
