Deal close: Norwich agree fee for West Ham midfielder

jarvisssNorwich City fans will be delighted to hear that their club have agreed a cut-price £2.5 million deal with West Ham to make loanee Matt Jarvis a permanent signing, according to the Daily Mail.

The fee comes as a substantial loss for West Ham, who signed the winger from Wolves for a then club record fee of £10.75 million back in 2012

Having joined the Canaries on loan in the final minutes of the summer transfer window, the 29-year old has managed to impress manager Alex Neil with his attitude.

And despite suffering with a knee injury since he came off at halftime against Manchester City at the end of October, the former England winger has been rewarded by the Norwich City boss with a permanent four and a half year deal.

Before his injury spell on the sidelines, Jarvis had netted two goals in seven games in all competitions this term.

Norwich City fans, what do you think about signing Jarvis permanently? Let us know in the comments below!
