Deal close: West Ham set to sign Spanish goalkeeper

AdrianThe West Ham United fans gathered around the jukebox are discussing reports that the club are set to offer a contract to a Spanish youngster.

Spanish newspaper Estadio Deportivo state that following a trial the Premier League side will offer 17-year-old goalkeeper Pablo Vazquez a deal with the club.

Vazquez has been plying his trade in La Liga side Sevilla and has been on trial with West Ham during the international break, where his impressive performances have given West Ham the opportunity to lure the youngster away from Spain.

The club will initially play for the development side should he decide to join the East London club, but they are hopeful that in the future he will prove his worth like current number one Adrian.

The West Ham fans in The Transfer Tavern hope he will join the club, and are delighted that the club are investing in youth.
