This summer has been riddled with disappointment as far as Tottenham fans are concerned. The window has just four days to run and with no incomings for The Lillywhites as of yet, news coming from The Daily Mail of Mousa Dembele rejecting a £20 million move to Inter Milan is the best they’re getting.

The next few days will be nervy for Spurs fans, the club have supposedly been close to a deal for Jack Grealish for months and it will be interesting to see if the 22-year-old starts against Hull City tonight as to whether or not he will be making that move from Birmingham to London. For the most part, though, it’s been disappointment for Tottenham fans who will be delighted with the good news surrounding Dembele.
Mousa Dembele signed for Tottenham back in 2012 from Fulham, a deal which also saw Clint Dempsey leave Craven Cottage for White Hart Lane. Six years on from that summer, Dembele has been one of the key players in Spurs’ revolution under Mauricio Pochettino and if he does leave it will mark a sad day for the fans, who have idolised their combative midfielder for his physical approach, neat passing and classy dribbling.

Good. We won’t sign any CM so it’s best that he stays

Fair enough, been a good servant to the club. I’ll still cheer him when he does his pirouette and holds 2 people off at the same time
