The Charlton Athletic fans in The Transfer Tavern are gathered around the jukebox discussing news that the club have signed a new striker on loan.
The club have confirmed the signing of Arsenal youngster Yaya Sanogo on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old has been at Arsenal since 2013 and has an FA Cup winners medal and achieved appearances in both the Premier League and Champions League.
Charlton were in need of fresh blood at the top half of the field and the addition of Sanogo will no doubt please manage Jose Riga, who is plotting a plan to help the achieve safety in the Championship this season.
Sanogo has recently been on loan in Holland with Ajax after spending the second half of last season on-loan at Crystal Palace.
The Charlton fans in The Tavern are pleased with the club’s new addition and hope he can supply the goals that result in the club’s safety from relegation come May.
