Leicester City continue to surprise everyone here in the Football Transfer Tavern.
Not only did the Foxes complete perhaps the greatest of all escapes last season, they currently sit second in the Premier League season after back-to-back victories under new boss Claudio Ranieri.
And there are further surprises in store it seems, as our landlord informs us that Leicester have completed a shock signing, as reported by the Daily Star.
Switzerland captain Gokhan Inler has signed on at the King Power Stadium after a £5million deal was agreed with Napoli.
The 31-year-old is seen as a direct replacement for Esteban Cambiasso who departed the club in the summer, and is the latest big name to join the club seemingly on the up.
Our resident Foxes fans here in the Transfer Tavern feel that the club needed another big signing like this to replace Cambiasso, and Ranieri has worked wonders by signing Inler!
