The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are already starting to look towards next season…
This season has been a successful one for the Reds, with Jurgen Klopp clearly transforming the side, but the hard work is yet to come. Certainly, Liverpool will be expected to make more of a go of it next season, with a Premier League title challenge likely to be demanded by the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern.
Jurgen Klopp is definitely a manager that looks to be preparing for the future, as displayed in his utilisation of youth and emphasis on team progression, and Liverpool have recently confirmed a deal that seems to echo that sentiment.
As confirmed on Liverpool’s official website, talented midfielder Liam Coyle has agreed terms with the club – with the 17-year-old officially signing on the dotted line for his first professional contract at Anfield.
Coyle has been steadily progressing through the developmental system at Liverpool’s Melwood training ground as of late, with the Reds’ brass seemingly impressed enough to offer him a professional deal.
A ball-winning midfielder by trade, Coyle prides himself on being able to tackle hard and tackle well – with the 17-year-old often right in the thick of it in the Liverpool midfield. Indeed, he might be just the sort of player that Liverpool need in a tough title fight.
