The Newcastle United fans are gathered around the bar in The Transfer Tavern discussing reports that the club have signed a new striker.
BBC Sport is reporting that the Premier League side have concluded a loan deal for Seydou Doumbia.
The 28-year-old has passed his medical and agreed terms, now he will join from Roma until the end of the season.
Steve McClaren has been working hard to bring a new striking addition to the club throughout the window and will be delighted that he finally has one accross the line.
The Premier League club will be hoping Doumbia will be the man to get the goals that will hopefully lead the club to Premier League safety come May.
Newcastle manager McClaren is still looking to add to his squad for the remainder of the transfer window and after seeing a £21 million bid for Saido Berahino rejected by West Brom yesterday could be tempted to make a new bid.
The Newcastle fans in The Tavern are delighted with the acquisition of Doumbia and look forward to see what the rest of the day will bring for their club.
