The Stoke City fans are gathered at the dart board in The Transfer Tavern discussing reports that the club have broken their transfer record.
The club have confirmed the signing of Porto midfielder Giannelli Imbula on three year deal.
Imbula arrives at the Brittania Stadium for a new club record £18.3 million and manager Mark Hughes is delighted with his new addition. Speaking about Imbula, Hughes said:
“Giannelli is a good young player. He has great power, good ability on the ball and a great range of passing and there’s no doubt he will add to the quality that we already have at the Club. He played against us in pre-season and although I was already aware of him, seeing him at first hand resonated with me.”
The Stoke fans in The Tansfer Tavern are delighted with their latest acquisition and can’t wait to see him paraded by the club.
