More good news for the Tottenham faithful in the Football Transfer Tavern…
They just keep on coming…
It feels like the Tottenham fans have come in every day over the last few weeks with a smile on their faces – after learning of yet another contract extension for one of their key players.
Yesterday Danny Rose signed a long-term deal, and now his defensive partner Kyle Walker has joined in on the act.
Tottenham have today confirmed that the 26-year-old has signed a long-term deal with the club, that will see him remain at White Hart Lane until 2021.

Our landlord thinks the most surprising thing about this news is the fact that Mauricio Pochettino isn’t wearing a suit, nor does he have a cheesy grin on his face!
He had worn the exact same suit for every single extension so far…
On a more serious note, our bar staff think that this is excellent news for the Tottenham faithful in the Tavern. Kyle Walker was an important part of the Tottenham first team last season – and that will no doubt continue through 2021.
Just Jan Vertongen to go now – and then Tottenham will have tied down their core defenders to long term deals.
Tottenham fans – thoughts?
