Done Deal: Watford complete deal for Spanish midfielder

Mario SuarezThe Watford fans in The Transfer Tavern are having a friendly game of pool and discussing their sides latest signing.

News has reached the fans that the club have completed the signing of Mario Suarez, as confirmed by ESPN.

The midfielder has joined the club for a fee of around £4.1 million on a three and a half year deal after passing a medical at the club’s training ground.

Suarez and Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores have previously worked together at Atletico Madrid and despite late reported interest from Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion, Suarez has decided to link up with Flores once more.

Suarez becomes the club’s third signing of the winter window following Costel Pantilimon and Nordin Amrabat signing for the club earlier this month.

Our landlord believes that Suarez will play a major role for Watford for the remainder of the season and that he will improve the club’s midfield immensely.

As for the Watford fans in The Transfer Tavern they are delighted with the news and believe that signing Suarez is a coup for the club.
