Our West Brom fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling good today with their latest signing unveiled on their club’s official website as Jake Livermore.
The Baggies have been going pretty well this season with them looking up rather down for the first time in a while.
Indeed, they have a genuinely decent chance of competing in the Europa League next season but many of our local punters felt to do so they need to sign more players.
That’s the same thought process that Tony Pulis seems to have had, then, with Livermore set to compete for a place in the centre of midfield.
The former Spurs player has joined from Hull City who have let another player leave and whilst our landlord thinks it’s a good signing for the Midlands club, he reckons it could mark the end of the Tigers’ stay in the top flight.
Hull have been struggling this season in finding goals to complement their play and so unless they can use this outgoing to fund a move for strikers, they look in serious trouble.
