Manchester City have been incredible so far this season as they try to secure the Premier League trophy for the second successive season.
The Citizens will be looking to continue their unbeaten run in weeks to come having secured 10 points from their opening four Premier League fixtures. Although, they did have to wave goodbye to one of their players recently, as according to Sky Sports, Douglas Luiz has joined Girona on loan.
Manchester City midfielder Douglas Luiz will spend a second season on loan with La Liga side Girona.
Indeed, the Citizens were unable to get a work permit for the 20-year-old, who joined the club from Vasco da Gama in Brazil last summer.
So, the youngster will join team-mates Patrick Roberts and Aleix Garcia at Girona.
The 20-year-old has a bright future ahead of him and could have played a big part in City’s campaign having failed to secure the services of Jorginho.
But, the Citizens have been forced to send the midfielder out on loan as they were unable to get a work permit.
Indeed, the Brazilian now has the chance to impress out on loan with a couple of City’s other young talents, in the hope that the defending Premier League champions can secure a work permit.
