Wolverhampton Wanderers have been a real danger against most of the top-six sides in the Premier League as they continue to impress in the so-called big games.
The Midlands club splashed the cash on a number of quality players back in the summer transfer window, and it’s safe to say that almost every signing has had a positive impact on proceedings this season.
Although, the month of January could decide Wolves’ fate as a combination of Premier League fixtures and the January transfer window will have a huge say on how their season pans out, with a European place up for grabs.
With that in mind, here is the dream January for Wolves…
CEMENT A EUROPEAN PLACE
Wolverhampton Wanderers currently find themselves floating around the European places after enjoying a very successful December under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Indeed, after spending a large amount of money and having seen the reaction of the players in the Premier League this season, a European spot has to be the main aim from here on in.
Therefore, supporters will be in dreamland if their side manage to cement a European place in the month of January, as it would highlight their amazing rise in the top-flight.
SECURE PROLIFIC ATTACKER
Wolves secured the services of Raul Jimenez on loan back in the summer transfer window, but he has taken up a role as more of a provider in the current campaign, with six goals and five assists to his name.
Helder Costa, Adama Traore, Ivan Cavaleiro and Diogo Jota have only managed to produce eight goals between them in all competitions.
The Midlands club will need to bring in a prolific attacker this month if they are to stand any chance of cementing a European spot this season, as a consistent flow of goals has been hard to find at the pinnacle of the attack.
