Arsenal have managed to gather some momentum recently after a rather unconvincing start to proceedings, with things beginning to look up.

The Gunners are definitely one of the underdogs in the race for the Premier League title with a place in the top four not even looking secure, so they'll definitely be praying for the best this season.

Indeed, Arsenal could certainly do with some added quality at times against the bigger teams, with some players struggling for consistency. In this day and age, success would be so much easier to achieve if the London club could create their dream XI that would consist of some of the greats over the past 10 years or so.

With that in mind, here's a look at Arsenal's dream XI that could stroll towards securing the title...

ARSENAL'S DREAM XI

Jens Lehmann was an absolute animal in-between the sticks as he enjoyed a number of successful seasons in the English capital.

Bacary Sagna was always able to ensure consistency, both moving forward and in defence, with there never being a worry when he was around. Gael Clichy was lightning quick on the opposite flank, with one of the best defenders to ever wear the red shirt, Sol Campbell, lining up alongside the forever-reliable Laurent Koscielny.

Cesc Fabregas made a name for himself during his time at Arsenal and is still an established Premier League player to this day. Aaron Ramsey has been a great servant at Arsenal and will continue to give his all for the cause in years to come, with Tomas Rosicky always being remembered for his hard work and incredible skills.

Indeed, supporters are very fond of Andrey Arshavin's four goals against Liverpool at Anfield and won't forget that in a hurry, while Alexis Sanchez was one of the Gunners' most consistent performers in recent years and never failed to produce goals and assists in the final third.

Lastly, Thierry Henry is arguably the best forward to have ever played for the Gunners due to his magic on the ball and ability to find the back of the net from the most ridiculous of angles with ease.
