With Chelsea winning 4-2 against Southampton last night, the pressure is back on Mauricio Pochettino’s men to get a win at Selhurst Park tonight.
The Lilywhites need to bounce back from their FA Cup final defeat in order to face a Palace side who have accounted for Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool in recent weeks meaning they are not to be taken lightly at all.
Whilst our landlord has been impressed by Big Sam’s resurgence with Palace, he feels Spurs will be one big win too far for the Eagles and expects Tottenham to bounce back and maintain the pressure on the top of the table.
Our resident Spurs fans are not to sure and whilst they’ve been nervous about this one since the defeat on Saturday, they’ve also come up with some bright ideas over who Pochettino should bring into the XI.
The common view in the Tavern is that their side should line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation instead of a 3-4-3 formation, meaning that there needs to be a change in personnel in order to work.
Our landlord agrees with the formation change and whilst he is a big fan of this young and fearless Spurs side, changes need to be made in order to get the three points in this one.
With that said, let’s take a look at the TWO players he feels needs to make way for tonight’s game….
