Arsenal appear to have forgotten about their slight wobble towards the end of December as they’ve now won their last two fixtures in all competitions.
The Gunners will still have their sights set on securing a Champions League spot in the current campaign, which could be made easy if they end up beating Chelsea next weekend.
However, the North London club will travel to the London Stadium to face West Ham United later on today. The Hammers are unbeaten in their last two games in all competitions but they haven’t been able to ensure consistency in the Premier League, so the Gunners will fancy themselves.
With that being said, Unai Emery can boost Arsenal’s top four credentials by giving these TWO stars the nod…
Ainsley Maitland-Niles has established himself as a rising star at the Emirates over the past couple of weeks, as he managed to find the back of the net against Liverpool and put in another impressive performance last time out.
The youngster is usually deployed as a wing back but Emery has used him as a right winger in the Gunners’ last three matches in all competitions, which has really benefited them.
So, with the youngster developing into a potential future star at the Emirates, Emery simply has no choice but to gift him another starting place against the Hammers.
Alex Iwobi has established himself as one of the standout performers for Arsenal in the current campaign, with three goals and seven assists to his name up until this point.
The Nigerian international has come on leaps and bounds under Emery as he seems to be getting quicker with every match, and his finishing ability has come a long way in comparison to last season.
Therefore, Emery has to keep using him on a regular basis as he is one of their biggest top-four hopes.
