Many of the players within the squad at Arsenal this season have impressed. It's been a stark contrast to the Arsenal of the last few years under Arsene Wenger. Indeed, under Emery mediocrity has all been wiped out, and the Spaniard is only expecting the best.

However, there's no denying that one player that hasn't quite gotten the memo regarding that is Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Armenian has had a tough season this term, and it's fair to say that, so far, his move to Arsenal hasn't quite worked out.

That said, despite his struggles, Arsenal would be foolish to let him go.

The attacker proved on Sunday that he's a game-changer, as per his display against Wolves. Whilst, again, it was not a complete performance, it's fair to say that Mkhitaryan looked good. He attacked well, and his energy and agility was hugely useful in the attack.

Despite it not being the perfect performance from him, though, he popped up with the all-important goal that maintained Arsenal's unbeaten record - and that says a lot. The best players can play poorly and still make an impact, and that's exactly what Mkhitaryan did.

Let's not forget, when Mkhitaryan was at Man Utd, he struggled for months and months - only for him to turn it around suddenly and go on a remarkable run.

He's never going to be the most complete player in the Arsenal squad, but that doesn't mean that he isn't of use. Indeed, he's always able to pop up with some magic and quality, and much like Mesut Ozil, that often translates to a positive result.

Arsenal, then, would be foolish to give up on him. He's not been a regular starter lately, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a role to play ass a starter.
