‘Enough is enough’ – Everton fans call for change after Man United loss

Everton supporters were drowning their sorrows once again in the Transfer Tavern having seen their side lose to Manchester United on Sunday.

Ronald Koeman’s men headed into their clash at Old Trafford off the back of three successive defeats in all competitions, which included a woeful 3-0 loss at Atalanta in the Europa League on Thursday night.

And that soon became four as goals from Antonio Valencia, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Romelu Lukaku, and Anthony Martial sealed a comprehensive win for Jose Mourinho’s men, and condemned our resident Toffees supporters to another disappointing evening in the Tavern.

Everton have now gone six games without a win in all competitions yet did improve somewhat against the Red Devils, with former United forward Wayne Rooney forcing a decent save out of David de Gea with the score still at 1-0.

Nonetheless, it’s a third consecutive Premier League defeat with nine goals conceded in that time for Koeman’s side, and already the pressure is building on the ex-Southampton chief having seen his team slip into the bottom three at this early stage of the campaign.

And several Evertonians took to Twitter in the aftermath of Sunday’s encounter to express their views on their side’s slump, and many are already calling for the Dutchman’s departure…
