Southampton fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are growing used to being linked with hundreds of players now they have millions of pounds in the bank.
But according to talkSPORT, Jordy Clasie, who is also interesting West Ham United, is focusing on life at current club Feyenoord rather than a move away from De Kuip.
The Dutchman has already been dubbed the ‘Xavi’ of the Netherlands national team having played for Louis van Gaal’s Oranje outfit this summer in Brazil.
He only signed a new deal last summer but an impressive season, in which he played 37 times, means that clubs are on the lookout for his services.
Arsenal and Tottenham were previously interested in the 23-year old last season and they have since been joined by West Ham, Southampton and also Porto.
But the 23-year-old has confirmed he is once again focused on life in Holland.
“Obviously, Porto would be a great club for me, but I cannot say more than that,” Clasie told Fox Sports.
“For now the important thing is to be focused on Feyenoord.”
