Earlier in the season, only one name was on the lips of the Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern…
Despite a pretty disappointing season last year, Son Heung-min emerged at the start of the campaign as Tottenham’s most important player. He was scoring week after week, and he somehow managed to force his way back into the door at Tottenham.
However, he has slowed down in recent weeks, and looks destined to remain a bit-part player at Tottenham going forward – but it would appear as though one European giant has not forgotten his early season form.
According to the Evening Standard, PSG are eyeing a move for Son, as they look to improve their wide attacking depth – with the futures of both Jese and Di Maria looking uncertain.
Whilst the Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern don’t want Son to leave, they think that the millions that PSG could offer could be enough to turn Daniel Levy’s head.
Following an electric start to the Premier League, Son retains a pretty impressive record this season – with 5 goals in just 10 starts.
Our landlord thinks that he could be a star for Spurs, but only if Pochettino gives him enough of an opportunity.
