European giant inform Manchester United £15m target is going nowhere

BigliaManchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have seen their hopes of finally landing a long-term target shattered today, after comments from a major European side.

The Daily Express cites comments from Lazio sporting director Igli Tare as telling SportsMediaSet that the Italian side will not be approving the exit of 30-year-old star Lucas Biglia this summer, despite transfer reports to the contrary.

“There’s never been any contact with Juventus for him. He’s not for sale, he knows the club’s thinking and he has our full confidence.  We want to build something important with him, but we’ll see how things go at the end of the season.”

Whilst Tare’s comments directly address reports of a move to Juventus, and make no mention of Manchester United, the Red Devils have heavily been linked with a move for the £15m-rated Argentine.

Given the comments from the European side, our landlord feels there’s zero chance of a deal being concluded at any stage during the course of the summer- which has upset some of our United supporting contingent.

Would Biglia be a decent addition to Manchester United? Let us know in the comments below!
