Chelsea man set for potential Stamford Bridge departure, European giants keen on deal

RemyChelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern were disappointed this afternoon when they were told the barrel of their latest bitter and run dry- but they’re not experiencing similar feelings with links regarding an outgoing signing.

The Daily Express state Galatasaray have joined the race for Chelsea misfit Loic Remy, handing Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of landing a cut-price deal for the French international a massive blow.

Remy has failed to impress fully at Stamford Bridge since making the short trip across West London from QPR and is expected to be on his way out this month, as long as the Blues can find a replacement with Radamel Falcao still injured.

29-year-old Remy has attracted a wealth of interest across the Premier League, with former side Newcastle United and their fellow strugglers Aston Villa also linked to the Frenchman, but Galatasaray’s emergence may make them the preferable suitors in the eyes of Chelsea.

Our punters are concerned that selling Remy to a fellow Premier League side may come back to haunt them, so they’d be relieved to see the experienced forward shipped-out abroad instead.

Chelsea fans, can you afford to offload Remy? Let us know in the comments below!
