European giant rules out Man United’s proposed £30m deal

Gianluigi DonnarummaManchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have assembled at the bar and ordered something very strong, as they sink their sorrows following another failed transfer swoop.

The Daily Express quotes AC Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani as ruling out an exit for highly-rated goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

“He is and he will remain Milan’s goalkeeper. We’ve not received any offers for him and if any were to come in, we would turn them down anyway.”

Highly-rated Donnarumma, amazingly just 16, was linked with a sensational £30m switch to Manchester United- which got fans at the bar extremely excited, as they believed they’d sorted their goalkeeper for the next two decades.

However, our landlord has stated that Donnarumma would have never left AC Milan at this stage anyway and there’s no reason for him too- and he’s keen to see the teenager continue to develop in Italy, where he thinks he’ll become huge hit.

United fans, would Donnarumma be the ideal De Gea successor? Let us know in the comments below!
