With all the changes likely to occur at Chelsea this summer, those fans here in the Transfer Tavern are concerned at whether certain players being sold is the best approach- and one name in particular has split the supporters.
TalkSport state that Juventus will revive their interest in Chelsea midfielder Oscar this summer, after first eyeing the Brazilian international last summer after the exits of Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal from Turin.
With Antonio Conte set to take charge at Stamford Bridge and breathe a new lease of life into the midfield, Oscar may be deemed surplus to requirements and Juventus are ready to try their luck with a bid worth around £24m.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed success with Chelsea since joining in 2012, winning the Europa League, League Cup and Premier League, but he may be keen to leave this summer due to the Blues’ lack of Champions League offerings.
Whilst he may be deemed as not a necessity in west London, it’s clear Oscar has bags of talent and the ability to improve in the future- so a decision to sell could come back to haunt Conte and company.
Chelsea fans, should Oscar be sold? Let us know in the comments below!
